Marketing Executive

Main Duties

  • Creating, coordinating, implementing, and managing marketing programs that uphold Corporate and property identity (Brand Documents).
  • Execute marketing tactics supporting future financial and reputational growth of the Company.
  • Create, implement, deliver, and review annual marketing activation plans focused on driving business into low & shoulder seasons while enhancing the guest experience during peak seasons.
  • Create, implement, deliver, and review a content strategy for all digital and printed communications, including websites, social media platforms, printed collateral, and email communications.
  • Fully manage all digital content, ensuring its accuracy, in specific websites, social media, copywriting and content management, data analytics, PR and corporate communications.
  • Plan and communicate marketing plans and activities with all relevant Heads of Department.
  • Create, implement, manage, and review all PR, social media, and digital media tactics.
  • Attend key operational meetings to ensure alignment with all hotel stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the venue teams.
  • Communicate with employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions, and provide accurate information. 
  • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations, serving as a role model for team and other employees.
  • Make decisions and take actions based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations. 

 Personal Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven track record in website creation and content management. This will include WordPress, Wagtail, Wix and HTML.
  • Proven track record in digital and print communications, including analytic presentations of results.
  • Proven hospitality experience, understanding low seasons, shoulder seasons, travel patterns (locally/nationally/internationally).
  • Proven track record in content creation, operating systems such as Illustrator or similar creative software’s.
  • Proven track record in management of social media channels.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, within predetermined time frames.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Proven track record in SEO, PPC and producing analytical reports thereof.
  • Fluent in English communications, both verbally and in text.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Marketing activities are delivered at a cost of sale of less than 2% of projected revenue generation (overall).
  • Monthly organic growth on all Social Media channels by 25% by 1st July 2021.
  • Delivery of Corporate Brand Document by 31st January 2021.
  • Delivery of revised Megaro website by 31st January 2021.
  • Delivery of Magenta website by 15th February 2021.
  • Delivery of KX Club website by 28th February 2021.
  • Delivery of Spagnoletti and Hokus Pokus websites by 15th March 2021.
  • Delivery of revised SPHG website by 31st April 2021.
  • All digital and printed collateral synchronised by 1st April 2021.
  • All digital imprints associated with all brands to be 100% synchronised by 31st May 2021.
