Revenue Manager - Group Role

Noughts and crosses or ones and zeros? We look for a balanced Revenue Manager who can jump between skills and gut feeling, ensuring our three boutique properties remain leaders in their segment.

The St Pancras Hotels Group consist of three properties.

  • The Megaro Hotel - 49 Rooms and 8 adjoining Apartments (currently 4* but working towards an 5* AA rating)
  • The California London - 60 rooms (3* Guest House)
  • The Gyle - 33 rooms (opening July 2019) which will be a 4* Town House

All properties are conveniently located within one minute from our Head Office in King's Cross, London. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the following:

  • Yield Management
  • Analysing legacy/current/future trends and markets swings
  • HQ+/STR/TravelClick/HRS
  • Extranet channels of B.com/Expedia/Ctrip/Hotelbeds/etc
  • PMS is Guestline/Rezlynx/Roomlynx (not a must as most systems are the same)
  • CRM is Revinate
  • META Search 
  • London inbound market
  • Conversion from OTA to direct
  • Driving up-sell of product to drive additional revenue streams

Each property is measured by its individual merit, challenge and guest profiling. As such, we have the great advantage of tapping successfully into every travel category. We move fast, no lengthy decision process, and full ownership is not only empty words, it is our lifestyle. We are strengthening our brand values, partly by marketing The Megaro into a strong Brand Destination, taking on the global brands. We are ambitious, with feet just about touching the ground. We break rules, never accept status quo, and lead from front.

You will come from a strong independent free-thinking environment with proven track-record. You will be brave and ruthless in driving direct bookings, keeping the OTA's firmly t the edge of their seats, however balancing them well so they still love us and provide vital support when we need it. You like to have fun, be adventurous, and focused on task at hand. You will lead from the front, and challenge our suggestions with analytical answers, or a decent gut feeling when needed. You will work closely with each property, ensuring charges are raised correctly, spotting any irregular payments/discounts/no-shows/corporate charges/etc. You will work closely with both the Group Operations Director and Sales Manager, making sure there is clarity in all decisions made.

Hours are long and relentless, if you like to take your time. Otherwise, it is all about getting the job done and starting journeys that improves our business model, and your personal development. Remuneration is individual, in the region of £40k, plus any incentive based on pre-agreed KPI's.
