In preparation for the reopening of our beautiful boutique hotels, we are looking for a Cluster Hotel Manager that will take ownership of The Megaro Hotel and The Gyle, in Kings Cross.

The ideal Hotel Manager will have bags of charisma and will be a real “people person”. The role needs a natural team leader, experienced with a similar role for at least 3 years in 5- or 4-star operation in London. We are happy to consider a step up from Operations Manager, should the career path be stable and consistent and proven the ability to manage room rates strategically. The Manager will be financially and commercially astute and will have an open business mind with a problem-solving attitude.

The ideal individual will have a hands-on approach to the business and will have solid experience in managing hotel finances maintaining a pro-active and coaching attitude towards the front-of-house team.

Reporting to the Managing Director & company owner, the Cluster Hotel Manager will need to be able to work efficiently with room rates, P&L, budgeting, forecasting, staff training in order to guarantee consistency and a high level of customer service; together with monitoring the day to day running of the operation, guarantying the business is profitable and competitive.


The Hotel Manager will be fully responsible for:

  •  the day to day running & control of reception/foh department
  • the delivery of exceptional customer service
  • for the development and maintenance of all standards
  • training and developing the reception team
  • hotel cleanings standards collaborating with Head Housekeeper and maintenance


The role requires someone with superb organisation and communication skills. It is essential to ensure all the departments are adequately briefed and trained at all times. Leading by example our ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to the business and great eyes for details.
